The West Windsor Democratic Club is proud to celebrate one of our own: Remi Meehan has been named a Rising Star by the Mercer County Democratic Committee. This prestigious award honors emerging leaders who are already making an impact in Democratic politics — and Remi is the embodiment of that promise. The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 29th, from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Hilton Garden Inn, Hamilton, NJ. Please join us in this celebration!
Born and raised right here in West Windsor, Remi has quickly distinguished himself through a remarkable blend of grassroots activism, policy insight, and national campaign experience. In 2024 alone, he served in leadership and support roles across some of the year’s most high-profile Democratic efforts:
As Small Business & Economic Development Outreach Coordinator for Andy Kim for Senate, Remi forged partnerships with business leaders across New Jersey, hosted a major fundraiser in Princeton, and earned a spot on the campaign’s Leadership Council.
On the local level, he was a core team member of West Windsor for Transparency and Representation, helping to guide strategy and mobilize residents in support of a key ballot initiative.
Nationally, Remi played a critical role on the Kamala Harris for President campaign as Advance Team Coordinator, producing rallies with leaders like Tim Walz and Josh Shapiro and managing press and logistics with the Secret Service.
He also contributed to Democratic organizing at the Democratic National Convention and supported the Harris Victory Fund as part of its Tri-State Committee.
Remi’s academic credentials are equally impressive. A Princeton graduate, he now pursues a PhD in International Relations at Sciences Po Paris, focusing on how states use social media in public diplomacy.
Remi’s drive, intellect, and dedication to progressive values have already made him an invaluable asset to our community and our party. We can’t wait to see what’s next.
